What Is elivate°Youth?

elivate°Youth brings hands-on DJ workshops directly into schools, youth groups, and community spaces, unlocking creativity, building confidence and helping young people discover the power of music and self-expression.

Led by international DJ and educator Pete Daisy, this fast-growing initiative is already changing lives and now expanding across the UK.

Why DJing?

DJing is one of the most accessible and instantly rewarding ways to engage young people in music.

With over 35 years of real-world DJ experience and cutting-edge tech, Pete has developed a method that gets students mixing confidently, in minutes.
Mix music and shape their own unique sound.
Build creative confidence, focus and self-belief.
Strengthen rhythm, timing and listening skills.
Express themselves emotionally through sound.
Plan, perform and record their own DJ sets.
Earn enrichment credits, including for GCSE Music and Duke of Edinburgh Award
Since 2016, DJing - including digital controllers and CDJs, has been officially recognised as a musical instrument for GCSE Music performance in the UK. <Read more>

Designed for Every Learner.

elivate°Youth programmes are designed with diversity in mind. Sessions are delivered 1:1 or in pairs, giving each young person the space to explore at their own pace and without judgement.

This approach works especially well for students who struggle in traditional group activities, including neurodivergent learners or those with high energy levels.

When young people are free to be themselves, they take creative risks and grow in ways that surprise even them.

With over 35 years of experience as a professional international DJ, Pete Daisy has played to crowds of thousands, but his greatest passion is teaching. A lifelong music lover living with ADHD, Pete channels his energy into creating exciting, inclusive learning experiences that light young people up from the inside out.
"My mission is to make the transformative power of music accessible to every young person, especially those who feel like they don’t fit into the traditional system.”
Pete now divides his year between touring globally and delivering elivate°Youth workshops, bringing fresh industry insights into every session while building a long-term, sustainable path for youth music access across the UK.

In addition to international DJ touring and school-based sessions, we’re building a wider network of creative projects, supported by a team of professional artists, producers, engineers, and agents with major industry experience. 

Collectively, they've worked on platinum albums, scored chart hits, and created music featured in films, TV, and viral social media, helping bring real-world expertise into everything we do.

As these projects grow a portion of profits will be reinvested into elivate°Youth, helping to fund workshops for young people in underserved communities.

This is about sustainability through creativity, building something that gives back as it grows.
